According to WLBT, Jackson police said that a 9-year-old child was accidentally shot Wednesday afternoon. The shooting happened in the Graystone Apartments on Chadwick Drive. WLBT said that according to JPD Deputy Chief Deric Hearn, the child was shot in the neck and died. Another child is believed to be involved.
