Tupelo Man Arrested For Methamphetamine After Trespassing Call

According to the Tupelo Police Department, a man was arrested for Methamphetamine after a call about someone trespassing.

On October 5, the Tupelo Police Department was called to an Oakview Drive address for unwanted individuals on the property.

During that call officers contacted suspect 62-year-old Mitchell Ashmore Jr. An investigation revealed that Ashmore was in possession of suspected crystal methamphetamine. Ashmore was arrested for that possession and transported to Lee County Jail.

Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Allen set bond at $2,500 for Felony Possession of Schedule II narcotic (Methamphetamine) less than 2 grams. This case will be presented to the Lee County Grand Jury
