Last week, Jackson Public Schools relaunched their WATCH D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) program.
According to a recent post by JPS, the program is designed to add an extra layer of security to schools, prevent and de-escalate violence in schools, and reduce bullying while increasing attendance, morale, and academic achievement.
“Thank you to all of the fathers and male father figures who participated in the event and who volunteered to take on leadership roles for this school year!”
For more information and to volunteer with the program, contact Watch D.O.G.S. Coordinator Micah Briggs at 601.201.5692 or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
