Tupelo Police Arrest Suspect For Multiple Vehicle Thefts

The Tupelo Police Department arrested a man suspected in multiple vehicle thefts.
According to police, on September 13, police were called to Moody’s Collision (1204 South Gloster) for a stolen vehicle report. A customized 1996 Chevy S-10 had been taken. The vehicle was later recovered, and information indicated that 22-year-old Tyjavrious Gandy was a prime suspect.
On October 3, Tupelo Police were called to 2080 Cliff Gookin Boulevard for a stolen vehicle call. A 1997 Ford Expedition was reported stolen. That vehicle was later found in Clay County and again the suspect was Tyjavrious Gandy.
On October 6, Gandy was arrested by Tupelo Officers. At the time of his arrest Gandy was out of jail on bond for previous Vehicle Thefts.
On October 7, Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Allen revoked previous bonds and ordered Gandy held without bond. These 2 cases will be presented to the Lee County Grand Jury.
