On Saturday, October 8, officers with the Greenville Police Department responded to Robinson Lane in reference to an unresponsive male.

When officers arrived, they found the body of 18-year-old Landon Griffith of Greenville, who appeared to have been shot.

Investigators arrested 15-year-old Edward Jones, Jr., 17-year-old Justen Johnson and 18-year-old Terrence Andrews, Jr., all of Greenville.

All 3 suspects have been charged as adults with Conspiracy to Commit a Crime and Capital Murder for their parts in this homicide.

The suspects are being held in the Washington County Regional Correctional Facility awaiting their initial appearances. No bond has been set for either suspect in this case.

All suspects in this case are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
