Saltillo Police Department recently arrested a man on felony marijuana charges.

According to a release, officers responded to a 911 call concerning a disturbance at a Saltillo address. Once on scene, it was determined that a domestic disturbance had occurred.

During the investigation of the disturbance, police learned that several marijuana plants were being grown at in the home. A search warrant was obtained and a search of the residence was conducted.

Several plants were seized along with a handgun and paraphernalia. Sean Hettinger was taken to Lee County Jail and charged with Felony Possession of Marijuana along with misdemeanor charges.

Hettinger was later taken for his initial appearance where his bond was set. He will be presented to a Lee County Grand Jury at a later date.

The North Mississippi Narcotics Unit assisted in the case.
