Two people are dead and one injured after a shooting in Laurel Monday.

Authorities said Laurel police officers were called to a shooting at Loper’s Laundry on West 10th Street just after noon.

Two people were dead inside a vehicle when they got there, police said. A third victim had been shot in the leg and was taken by ambulance to a local hospital.

So far the victims’ names have not been released.

Witnesses told police there was a man who appeared to be in his 20s who ran from the scene wearing a red shirt and black pants.
