Forrest County investigators have made an arrest in a five-year-old murder case.

Authorities say the investigation into the death of Jessica Bowen was reopened in January after new evidence was acquired.

That new evidence in the case led to the arrest of her husband, Brian Henley.

A First-Degree Murder warrant was issued by the Sheriff’s Office to the U. S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force and early Wednesday morning, Henley was taken into custody in Warner Robbins, Georgia.

Henley will remain in custody while awaiting extradition to Forrest County. There is no other information to release at this time.
