The Louisville Police Department is warning citizens of counterfeit money that is circulating in the community.

A post on their facebook says fraudulent bills and money orders are both being passed. Several incidents had been reported before an arrest was made. In this arrest, over $7,000 in fake currency was seized.

Police are asking businesses and citizens to pay special attention to bills passed.
