Forrest County Sheriff Charlie Sims announced an arrest of a Hattiesburg man for numerous drug and firearm charges.

John C. Brewer, 35, was arrested on a warrant by the FCSO SWAT Team along with members of the 12th Judicial Narcotics Enforcement Team (12NET). Pursuant to the arrest, the team implemented a search of the residence, after being issued a search warrant.

Agents seized fifteen grams of methamphetamine, fifteen grams of heroin, a stolen firearm, and US currency.

Brewer has been charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession with intent to deliver, possession of a stolen firearm, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Brewer was transported to the Forrest County Adult Detention Center where he awaits his first appearance.
