The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office is dealing with the case of an 11-year-old juvenile who allegedly fired shots at a school bus.

On Wednesday evening, the Sheriff’s office received a call that the juvenile had fired a rifle at or toward a Lincoln County school bus when it had to turn around and drive by again after he was let off at his home on Newman Trail.

There was no evidence that the bus was struck and no one was injuried, nor was there any evidence that the juvenile had the gun at school or on the bus during school hours.

A 22 caliber rifle was recovered from the home and charges concerning the incident will be filed in Lincoln County youth court against the juvenile suspect.
