UPDATE: According to WAPT, Latimmis Washington, 18, was also arrested at the scene. Police said Washington is a suspect in the Jan. 13 death of Raven Coleman, who was shot while sitting in her car outside a T-Mobile store on Ellis Avenue.

A stolen iPad (previously reported as laptop) “pinged” on Winn Street in Jackson Tuesday morning, leading officers to a home where they encountered between 10 and 15 juveniles.

When a parent showed up at the house, police went through the home, where they found several items that were allegedly stolen during auto burglaries.

Three juveniles were detained for questioning, which police say could lead to charges.
