Ridgeland Police Department adds mobile app to maintain communication

The City of Ridgeland Police Department has announced the release of a custom smartphone application which will serve as an innovative way for the police department to connect with Ridgeland residents and visitors, providing information quickly and efficiently to anyone with a smartphone.

The app was developed by ThePoliceApp.com, a brand of OCV, LLC., which specializes in mobile app development for police departments and public safety organizations across the country. They are also the makers of TheSheriffApp.com, of which several Mississippi counties such as Lafayette, Calhoun, and Panola.

This app offers quick access to items of public interest and is easy to use. In just a few clicks, users can access features such as:
