Ridgeland police officers responded to the report of multiple shots fired into a home located in the Hawthorn Green subdivision off of William Boulevard on Saturday, February 3, at approximately 12:14 am.

Police said nobody was home at the time of the shooting and nobody was injured.

Investigators were called out and the scene was thoroughly processed for evidence.  This incident stems from an ongoing dispute between a juvenile resident of this home and another female.  This investigation is ongoing and arrests are forthcoming.

To protect this investigation and the intended victim in this case, Ridgeland police said that no other information will be released until all arrests have been made.
