UPDATE: 33-year-old Jacob Golmon is in custody at the Pike County Jail, as of Thursday night at 9:37 p.m. We are working to gather more details on this developing story.
Golmon is from Smithdale, Mississippi. He was booked on charges of Possession of Child Pornography and a Bench Warrant Public Display of Sexually Oriented Materials.

One man is in custody and one is on the run after police raided a business and a home in Summit on Wednesday.
According to authorities, Garrett Szopinski, 32, was taken into custody on a felony warrant for distributing child pornography and remains at the Pike County Jail with no bond after a search warrant was executed at his home in the 2100 block of Highway 51 north of Summit.
Deputies also executed a search warrant at Catching-Sharkey Funeral Home in reference to a related ongoing investigation.

Jacob Golmon, 33, of Smithdale, was not at the funeral home and is currently wanted on a felony warrant for distribution of child pornography as well as a misdemeanor warrant for public display of sexually oriented materials.
Sheriff James Brumfield has not been available for comment on this case today. We were able to speak briefly with District Attorney Dee Bates, who said, “We’ve been made aware of this situation. It’s still early, and numerous agencies are involved in the investigation.”
