The Pike County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a fugitive who was on the run from Louisiana.

Authorities heard that Terence O’Neal Brewer could be in Pike County, and deputies saw a vehicle that fit the description given in the BOLO driving south on Old Industrial Park Road.

When deputies tried to pull the car over, the suspect allegedly fled the stop. Police say he turned south onto the railroad tracks in Fernwood, wrecked his vehicle and then ran off into the woods.

Dog teams from Louisiana were called to track him, and they found a trail from the railroad tracks towards Woodrow Road in Magnolia.

Brewer was considered armed and dangerous and possibly under the influence of drugs. He was arrested shortly after information was released to the public.
