A man is behind bars after a shooting Saturday at an Olive Branch hotel.

According to a release from Olive Branch Police Department, on Saturday just after noon police were called to a report of shots fired at the Hilton Garden Inn on Craft-Goodman Frontage. When they got there, officers found a victim that had sustained gunshot wounds.

The victim was taken to the hospital and was listed in critical condition. The suspect, later identified as 24-year-old Alvin J Myles Jr., of Horn Lake, left the scene but was found and taken into custody a short time later without incident.

Officials said this remains an active and ongoing investigation.
