Now-former Jackson middle school teacher has been arrested and charged with sexual battery.
Collins Robinson was a teacher at Bailey APAC Middle School.
Starting May 6, he was placed on leave for authorities to investigate claims and allegations of inappropriate contact.
The thirty-six-year-old was arrested and charged with sexual battery on Thursday, May 20. He was also fired from JPS.
Jackson Public Schools told WLBT reporter Jacob Gallant, “While we are deeply saddened by the allegations, the safety and well-being of our students remains a top priority for our District.
