Gautier police and the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department have both brought charges against an 18-year-old man after he was accused in two gang-related shootings.
A release from the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department says Kevin Spain, 18, has been charged with shooting into an occupied dwelling.
The unspecified incidents occurred on July 17 and July 18, according to authorities, and while no one was hurt, Sheriff John Ledbetter said both shootings are gang-related.
Spain was already in the Jackson County Adult Detention Center on separate charges of felony fleeing and eluding from a vehicle pursuit, as well as possession of felony marijuana.
He has been jailed and denied bond.
