FRONT LINES Season 3, Episode 1: Everything has gone to the dogs

Therese Apel

Deputies Tony Shack, Chris Picou, and Sentel Easterling work with K9 Voodoo in bite practice.

One of the most important weapons in the arsenal of an interdiction deputy is his K9 partner, and the cast of FRONT LINES opened up and talked to us about man’s best friends. We pulled footage from a recent practice where the dogs were working on the basics, but we also have real-world work featured in FRONT LINES, and 5-year-old file footage of Wannes, Mississippi’s own K9 hero as he shows the teeth that made him one of Rankin County’s best. You’ll see the dogs you’ve come to know, including Voodoo, Iwan, Rik, Splinter, Roscoe, Bonnie, and more.

And yes, you’ll also hear from your favorite deputies. We almost forgot that part because the dogs are so awesome too.

Buckle up for Season 3. We’re excited to bring you more real-world police work from the Magnolia State on FRONT LINES.
