Bystanders Rush To Help Infant, Driver Out Of Rollover Crash In Rankin County

On Thursday, July 25, at approximately 6:30 p.m., emergency services responded to a two-car rollover accident with possible entrapment, including an infant in Rankin County.

According to the Southwest Rankin Fire Department, when they arrived, they found both vehicles on their sides.

Several bystanders saw the crash and rushed to help rescue the driver and infant who were trapped in one of the vehicles.

When the fire department arrived, all occupants were safely out of the cars without any major injuries.

Two individuals were transported to the hospital via ambulance for further evaluation.

The Rankin County Sheriff’s Office, Florence Police Department, Cleary Fire Department, and Rankin County EOC all helped with the crash.
