The dismembered body found in Jackson on Saturday, Sunday and Monday has been identified by Hinds County Coroner Sharon Grisham Stewart as a 54-year-old man.
Little is known at this time about Scott Allen Tyler, whose arm was found Saturday when a dog was seen carrying it down Middle Road. The dismembered body was found Sunday, and his head was found Monday.
Authorities have not released any information on whether there is a suspect or a motive known.
