A fiery crash slowed traffic down on I-20 East at Gallatin Street Monday afternoon.
An 18-wheeler flipped over in the median and a car caught on fire.
According to a witness, emergency officials were able to get everyone out to safety before the car caught fire.
The driver of the 18-wheeler was trapped but was rescued and taken to the hospital.
