A volunteer firefighter has lost his life over the weekend after being injured in the line of duty.
Lieutenant Larry Adams of the District 3 Volunteer Fire Department passed away Sunday after sustaining injuries during a car fire on August 6.
Yazoo County VFD posted the news to their Facebook page, where he is remembered as “a good man” and “a very active volunteer first responder.”
Adams enjoyed being a part of his community, and many remembered him as working the concessions stand at Manchester Academy, as well as working at the local fair.
