According to a report from WLBT, a Rankin County woman plead guilty to embezzling high school band booster funds.
She is expected to be sentenced next week.
WLBT said that Donna Gladney Floyd is expected to be sentenced for embezzling $25,000 from the Brandon Band Booster Club.
She faces up to 20 years in prison and would have to pay $42,151 in restitution to the booster club.
WLBT reports that the embezzlement occurred between July 22, 2022, and May 20, 2023. Floyd was treasurer for the band at the time.
