The Criminal Investigation Division (CID) of the Pontotoc County Sheriff’s Department arrested 21-year-old Ty’jhai Davis, from Loganville, GA, and 23-year-old Cally Pusey, from Covington, GA on Sunday afternoon May 26.
The perpetrators have been charged by CID with Trafficking of a Controlled Substance-Marijuana.
The Narcotics Division of the CID, while conducting daytime Narcotics Operations patrolling the highways, county roads, and streets of Pontotoc County arrested the two during a traffic stop.
During the traffic stop a strong odor of Marijuana was detected emitting from the vehicle. Upon executing a search of the vehicle, over 50 pounds of Marijuana was discovered.
The suspects were booked into the Pontotoc County Sheriff’s Department, Adult Detention Center.
A Justice Court Judge set Bond of $15,000 for each perpetrator on the Trafficking Charge.
