According to the Picayune Police Department, a man named Tevin Turner who was wanted on an outstanding warrant for Armed Robbery was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Service.

Turner was found and arrested in Independence, Louisiana.

The arrest was made possible through the combined efforts of multiple agencies and crucial tips from the public. Authorities expressed their gratitude for the community’s assistance, emphasizing that citizen tips were instrumental in resolving the case.

“We appreciate the help of all agencies involved with this endeavor but most especially we appreciate you! Citizen tips helped bring this to a close and we couldn’t do it without you,” stated a representative.

Turner now faces charges and will be processed accordingly.
