Two people have been arrested in Perry County on child sex charges.

A release from the Perry County Sheriff’s Department states that a report came in from Covington County about a molestation case. The victim was a female child who said she had been molested at a home in Perry County.

PCSO opened an investigation and arrested Jacob Dale Peacock, 27, and charged him with a count of molesting. His bond has been set at $100,000.

In March, a report came in from Hattiesburg Police Department in reference to a sexual battery case. Two female juveniles alleged that they were both sexually assaulted at a home in Perry County.

Duane Lamar Howard Jr., 51, was then charged with two counts of Sexual Battery. His bond has been set at $200,000.

Both men are currently in jail.
