On March 23, Pike County Sheriff’s Criminal Investigation Division and a Wreck Reconstructionist were able to locate the suspect’s vehicle in the Hit and Run Fatality of Mr. Ota Hampton.
41-year-old Harry James Botley, of McComb, MS, was charged with Tampering with Physical Evidence. His bond was set at $5,000.00.
43-year-old Terry Fitzgerald Jackson, 43, of McComb, MS, was charged with Tampering with Physical Evidence and Leaving the Scene of an Accident Resulting in Death.
The investigation is still ongoing. No bond has been set at this time.
All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a Court of Law.
