On September 25, Tupelo Police Officers contacted a man named Terrell Griffin Jr. at a safety check point at Blair Street and N. Industrial Road.
Officers conducted a probable cause search of the vehicle, and found marijuana and a firearm.
After further investigation, it was determined the firearm was reported stolen and Griffin had been previously convicted of a felony crime.
On September 24, Tupelo Municipal Court where he was given a $10,000 bond by Judge Weir for Possession of a Firearm by a Felon.
This case will be presented to the Lee County Grand Jur
