Morgan Howard

On November 28, officers with the Tupelo Police Department responded to a call of False Pretense at a Business on South Gloster Street.
When officers arrived, they were told that an individual entered the business and attempted to purchase items from the store with a stolen and altered check from another local business.
After further investigation, 32-year-old Cody J. King (from Booneville) was charged with one count of False Pretense.
On November 30, Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Allen ordered King to be held on a $5,000 bond. These charges will be presented to the Lee County Grand Jury.
