On May 10, Tupelo Police Officers responded to Monument Drive in reference to two people that had been hit by a car.
When officers arrived and found the victims, they learned that the suspect had intentionally struck them with his vehicle.
After further investigation, 24-year-old Quitavis T. Rogers (Tupelo) was charged with Aggravated Assault on May 31 an Arrest Warrant was issued.
Rogers turned himself in on June 26.
On June 27, Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Allen set Rogers’ bond at $20,000 These charges will be presented to the Lee County Grand Jury.
