A strong cold front will move through the area today and will bring thunderstorms across much of the area along with freezing rain across the Delta. Temperatures will fall throughout the day.

Heavy rainfall totals of two to four inches with locally higher amounts will be possible across the area, which could lead to flash flooding of low lying and urban areas.

Isolated strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible in some areas. Damaging wind gusts will be the primary hazard, but tornadoes will also be possible.
