Cleary Chief Administrative Officer Alex Robinson, who lives two houses down from the blaze, was first on scene. She said it was fully involved when she got there.

Neighbors who had called 911 had said it was possible there was a couple trapped inside the house, but upon arrival, volunteers learned that the husband had already passed away a few years ago. As firefighters fought the house fire, they searched for the elderly woman who lived there, believing she could be home as her car was still in the carport.

Firefighters were conducting an interior search of what was left of the home upon publication of this story. We were updated at 11:20 a.m. that the remains of one person were found in the wreckage.
