One firefighter was treated for heat-related illness after Ridgeland Fire Department was called to a structure fire on Tuesday.
According to a social media release, Ridgeland’s C-Shift responded to a report of a structure fire on Trunnell Rd.
Crews arrived on scene to find the structure with heavy fire showing. An aggressive interior attack was used to prevent further spread of the fire.
Authorities say the fire was controlled after about an hour, and none of the occupants were injured.
Officials ask that citizens who pray keep this family in their prayers.
