Traffic was slowed on I-20 at the Scott and Rankin County line when an 18-wheeler overturned, spilling its load of car motors.
Pelahatchie Fire Chief and Mayor Karl Van Horn said it happened around 11:15 a.m. Responders found the truck on its side with the cabin detatched from the chassis. Both the driver and passenger got out of the vehicle with only minor injuries.
According to Rankin County Fire Coordinator Brett Ishee, there were about 65 Toyota motors that were in the truck when it spilled.
Van Horn said the driver told him the front tire had blown out.
Officials believe it could be after dark before the scene is clear.
