On Friday, June 18, 2021, Hattiesburg Police responded to a report of a shooting in the 400 block of West 4th Street, around 8 a.m.
When officers arrived on the scene, they located a female with a non-life-threatening injury, she was transported to a local hospital where she was treated and released.
As the investigation progressed, it was learned that the suspect was Spencer Dewayne Walker.
Walker, 49, has an active warrant for aggravated assault in connection to the incident.
