The Jefferson County Sheriff and the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation are investigating a fatal shooting at a mud-riding event in Lorman on July 23.
Authorities said 22-year-old Robert Reynolds was shot in the stomach during an altercation which involved three young men trying to enter the event without paying.
Reynolds was treated at a hospital in Port Gibson where he succumbed to his injuries.
Multiple arrests have been made thus far. This is an ongoing investigation.
