A Lee County man was recently arrested on drug charges.
Police say Lee County Deputies initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle in the Mooreville area on Friday. The driver was identified as 34-year-old James Gaston.
A deputy located a felony amount of suspected methamphetamine in the vehicle’s trunk, and Gaston was arrested for felony possession of methamphetamine.
Gaston has been charged with possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine. His bond was set at $5,000 by a Lee County Justice Court Judge.
