Meet Woody, our Darkhorse Dog of the Week!

Animal Control in Natchez received a call about a “wild animal” at someone’s doorstep on MLK and Woodlawn.

When animal control officers arrived, they realized it was just a dog with an injured leg. The dog was taken to the vet and had to have his front leg amputated.

The Natchez-Adams Humane Society now has Woody and is getting him the medical care that he needs. Dr. Hickman and her crew are caring for this handsome guy.

The shelter said Woody is extremely sweet and anxious to be able to move around again.

The shelter said any and all donations are greatly appreciated.

Woody will be available for adoption after he is healed from surgery.

If you can’t adopt, the humane society said they desperately need dry dog food and puppy food right now. That is a great way to help the dogs in their care!
