On January 02, 2022, at around 8:40 pm, the Carthage Police Department received a call from a Dollar Tree employee saying she had been robbed.
The victim was making a nightly deposit at the Trustmark bank located on Hwy 16 East in Carthage, when a male wearing a mask pulled a firearm demanding money.
The male left with the money running on foot. The Carthage Police Department is asking for the public help in this case.
Anyone with information that leads to an arrest could be eligible for up to a $2,500 reward.
