After authorities noticed the tag of a vehicle stolen in Louisiana headed up I-55 toward the Metro area, the U.S. Marshals and Highway Patrol converged on the Quick Trip gas station off I-55 in Byram around 10:30 a.m.
Patrick was wanted in the fatal shooting and burning death of 78-year-old Dee Eady in Scott County last Saturday. He has been on the run since then.
After the Scott County incident, he was allegedly seen robbing a Subway in Woodville on Monday afternoon. He was caught on camera as he made his way through the store.

Thank you all for the help!!” posted the Scott County Sheriff’s Department on their Facebook page Friday after the arrest.
Officials say they will release more as it becomes available.
