A 19-year-old Tupelo man is behind bars after police say he allegedly stole a car from a local bar.
According to Tupelo Police Department, Jonathan Freeman was arrested in connection with the theft of a blue 2000 Chevrolet truck from the parking lot of Brew Ha’s Bar on South Eason Street.
Freeman has been arrested on charges of felony taking of a motor vehicle. In addition to recovering the vehicle, officers say they recovered 2 firearms that were in the vehicle when it was allegedly stolen.
Freeman’s bond was set at $25,000.
