Suspect in March 17 Waffle House shooting still at large

Tupelo police are still working on the case of a shooting at a Waffle House in Tupelo back in March.

Police say around 2 am on March 17, officers were notified of a shooting at 722 South Gloster (Waffle House). An adult male victim had been transported by private auto to the NMMC for an apparent non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

Investigators were able to narrow the suspect pool down and finally issued an aggravated assault warrant for Courtney Mikale Jamison, 34, of Tupelo. He is black, 6’3”, and 210 lbs.

A search warrant was executed on Lakeview Street in Tupelo on March 20 around 9 pm but Jamison was not on scene. Tupelo Police Department is working with the US Marshals Fugitive Task Force in continued attempts to locate Jamison. TPD continues to ask for tips or leads in locating Jamison.
