Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating a crash in Jackson County that seriously injured a bicyclist.
According to a release from MHP, Eric Olsen, 45, of Moss Point, was riding his bike on Highway 613 when a gold passenger car hit him as it traveled north.
After the collision, the vehicle left the scene with damage to the driver’s side. Troopers say the car is missing the driver-side mirror.
Eric Olsen received serious injuries from the crash and was taken to a area hospital.
