West Point teen arrested on attempted murder charges

A West Point teenager has been charged with attempted murder after a stabbing last week.

West Point Police Department said on their Facebook that they responded to a call of a stabbing just before 4 PM on Friday. The victim was already at the North Mississippi Medical Center. The victim was a juvenile.

Austin Hill, 16, was developed as a suspect and arrested on the charge of attempted murder. He is charged as an adult and has been released from the Clay County Jail on a $150,000 bond.
