Several vehicles were involved in an accident Wednesday morning on Highway 43 at Pisgah Road just past Pisgah Elementary School.
The Mississippi Highway Patrol is working the crash and we are waiting on an official statement from them, but it was dispatched as a five-vehicle accident with entrapment.
MHP confirmed there were five vehicles involved. They are awaiting information on any injuries.
Along with MHP, Rankin County fire, Rankin County EOC, the Rankin County Sheriff’s Office, and Pafford Ambulance Service were also on scene.
The wreck had mostly been cleared by the time we arrived around 8 a.m.
