The Lee County Sheriff’s Department has taken a local woman into custody on drug charges.
Officials said in a release that Tiffany Burrell was arrested after deputies were dispatched to a home on County Road 1253 in Lee County. The call was in reference to an unwanted person at the residence, but when authorities arrived, they found a Schedule II narcotic on the property.
The Sheriff’s Department did not release what narcotic Burrell had in her possession.
Burrell was arrested, charged with possession of a Schedule II Narcotic, and booked in at the Lee County Jail. She was given a $10,000 bond.
