A Hattiesburg man has been charged with stabbing his wife on Tuesday.
According to a release, the Hattiesburg Police Department responded around 6:45 p.m. Tuesday to a domestic dispute at 500 block of William Carey Parkway.
Christopher Rainey, 29, has been charged with a count of domestic violence-aggravated assault and has been booked into the Forrest County Jail.
Rainey’s twenty-seven-year-old wife was taken to the nearest hospital to be treated for injuries. Her condition was not immediately available.
