Jones County authorities say a man is in custody after crashing his truck into his ex-girlfriend’s home.

According to a release, Chad Williamson, 39, drove his pickup into the house after his girlfriend broke up with him. Police got the call Thursday morning to the residence on Highway 11 just outside the Ellisville city limits.

The truck collided with the bedroom of the home and caused extensive damage, but there were no injuries reported. The woman was not home at the time of the incident, though police say Williamson was unaware of that.

Williamson was arrested by JCSD deputies on the scene and charged with Felony Malicious Mischief. Additional charges are pending as JCSD investigators review the incident.

Williamson has been booked into the Jones County Adult Detention Facility in Ellisville.
